  • The conference is designed for cannabis entrepreneurs and business owners, students and emerging leaders, policymakers and civic leaders, wellness and healthcare professionals, creatives and cultural leaders, and community members looking to learn and connect. Whether you're building a cannabis business, exploring cannabis policy, interested in cannabis equity, or new to the industry, there's programming for you.

  • The Daily Dose Tour is a citywide series of experiences happening in five Northeastern cities before the Philadelphia conference. It brings people directly into businesses, organizations, and community spaces shaping cannabis culture, entrepreneurship, wellness, and innovation. Rather than confining participation to one venue, the tour activates different neighborhoods through collaborative events, networking, wellness activations, business spotlights, educational sessions, music, and community gatherings.

  • The 2026 Daily Dose Tour stops in Boston, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and New Jersey — five cities, one movement.

    • Friday, September 25: Policy Summit (morning), High Black History Comedy Show (evening)

    • Saturday, September 26: Main Expo with marketplace and signature activations

    • Sunday, September 27: Community Day focused on restoration, relationship-building, and sustaining the movement

  • High Black History is a live cultural experience celebrating overlooked Black stories through comedy, education, and community connection. Created from the nationally recognized Drunk Black History platform, it blends humor, storytelling, and history to create unforgettable moments of learning and joy. It returns as a signature BCW experience with nationally recognized guests.

  • Family Feud is a community-centered game experience using friendly competition, storytelling, and culture to create meaningful conversations across generations and industries. It's returning for its third year as a BCW signature experience, bringing founders, leaders, professionals, and community members together through laughter and collaboration.

About the Org

  • Black Cannabis Week is an annual national initiative of DACO Collective operating under fiscal sponsorship through Marijuana Justice, a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit. BCW is a week-long platform that brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers, advocates, wellness practitioners, students, creatives, and community members around cannabis equity, economic opportunity, and social justice. Rather than one event, BCW includes multiple programming across different cities throughout the week, culminating in the Cannabis Opportunities Conference in Philadelphia.

  • Nova Future Leaders is an initiative investing in the next generation of cannabis and social justice leaders. "A nova is the moment existing brilliance becomes visible." The initiative includes a Future Leaders Access Tour bringing students and emerging leaders from Maryland, New York, and New Jersey into industry and policy spaces, a Nova Scholarship Pitch awarding $1,000 scholarships to emerging leaders, and conversations with nationally recognized guests about wellness, leadership, and purpose. It's designed for young professionals, college students, creatives, and future changemakers.

  • DACO (Diasporic Alliance for Cannabis Opportunities) is a community organization with a nonprofit fiduciary relationship with Marijuana Justice, a verified 501(c)(3). DACO's main goal is to raise awareness about educational, wellness, and economic prospects in the cannabis industry across the African diaspora. It strives to foster a balanced and thriving cannabis community that promotes both physical and mental well-being.

  • Marijuana Justice is a verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides fiscal sponsorship to DACO Collective. Because DACO doesn't hold its own 501(c)(3) status, Marijuana Justice serves as the legal nonprofit entity. This structure allows BCW — one of DACO's annual programming initiatives — to operate as a program under a verified nonprofit while maintaining DACO's community-driven leadership and vision.

  • Fiscal sponsorship through Marijuana Justice allows BCW to operate as a mission-aligned nonprofit program without the administrative overhead and legal complexity of maintaining a separate 501(c)(3). It also reinforces BCW's identity as a community-led initiative rather than a standalone corporation, keeping the focus on collective impact rather than organizational infrastructure.

  • BCW was created to address the gap between emerging cannabis opportunities and the communities most impacted by criminalization. Rather than separating people into isolated spaces or industries, the conference intentionally blends education, networking, wellness, culture, public dialogue, and collaboration. It recognizes that traditional conferences don't center Black experiences and explicitly designs programming around equity, lived experience, and community-led solutions.
