IMPACT
Nine Years in the Making.
What began as a community-driven response to exclusion has evolved into one of the nation’s longest-running platforms centering Black and Brown leadership across policy, entrepreneurship, wellness, workforce development, advocacy, and culture.
Rooted in Philadelphia and expanding nationally, BCW brings together organizers, educators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, creatives, students, wellness leaders, and community members working to shape more equitable futures together.
For nine years, the platform has continued creating spaces where education, economic opportunity, storytelling, civic engagement, and collective action intersect.

Nine years in, the work continues evolving.
What started as a community-driven response to exclusion has grown into a national platform connecting leadership, education, wellness, entrepreneurship, culture, advocacy, and collective action across the country.
What happens next will require all of us.
The Experience
BCW operates through a community-centered unconference model that blends leadership dialogue, wellness, entrepreneurship, workforce development, advocacy, storytelling, education, civic engagement, and cultural experiences into one interconnected ecosystem.
Rather than separating conversations into silos, the experience is intentionally designed to create collaboration across industries, lived experiences, and community leadership spaces.
